What? Well what I mean is blogging about my dabblings, now that I’m “on a mission“. Not to mention the idea of Dabble still being an ember that refuses to go out. And it being that time of year when I cannot resist a bit of makery (more on that in another post).
I still have my mahoosive retro fabric stash, not grown much (by “much” I mean heaps, of course, but you knew that) and I’ve an idea of what to do with a goodly portion of this. Plus my random retro bits and bobs (aka tat, according to the husband) which I should get on and get sell on eBay (mostly).
What kind of things have I collected? Well ignoring the stuff that got broken in our last move (or I’d weep), this is the kind of thing that has caught my eye on occasion. I spotted these items amongst a couple of boxes of stuff at the Folkestone auction last week. For very little investment I immediately have items that should turn a profit, even allowing for time to tidy and package and send:
And now that I’ve got around to clearing some space to take some “good enough” photographs I’ve less excuse to not just bloomin’ well get on with adding to eBay. But then I think of adding an online shop here – just because I know how, but then I would wait more to find time to make that happen… And around I go again, surrounded by treasures and ending up gradually sending them to the local Dogs’ Trust shop. We shall see, but even if I can get writing about the things I do that is a good thing.
We shall see (I won’t say “watch this space”, just in case 😉 )
