Well, what a time this is! I dearly hope you are, and stay, safe and well. This feels like a good time to fire up Dabble once more, not least to encourage me to spend some downtime in the den. My business will be affected with fewer clients, I’m sure, as everyone pulls in their belts, so there are a few things I can actually do to boost my income and weather the next few weeks/months/however long!
The obvious focus should be on actually selling my stash of retro items that I’ve collected over the years, mainly from a local auction that I have managed to resist recently. Everything is on shelves now so it will be more straightforward to take that to the next stage and set up the selling of stuff… I’ll blog this too, in case this is useful for others.
And making things – we have an abundance of bare lights in this home – more than necessary but they do look a bit bare, so I can make lampshades, using what fabrics I have and can bear to part with!
Then there is a greenhouse attached to the house which is rather lovely and perfect for any restoration that I am able to carry out, plus growing things, of course.
I watched this video recently and am keen to have a go with some of these ideas, just because…

and potatoes – during the time we’re home-bound we can grow.
Then there is some bread-making. I’ve already set my sour-dough starter (Stanley) going and that should be ready to bake with tomorrow:

So – that should keep me out of mischief, though undoubtedly there will be more ideas and stuff to share…
Feel free to share your plans and ideas for keeping calm during this carry on…
